There is no time like a pandemic to begin making object art again. I’m a lapsed visual artist who hasn’t practiced since I was a teenager. The first two painting below are the first I have completed since I was in high school. Returning to a process that was once so familiar as a novice is humbling but has enabled me to find new ways of thinking about technique and style.
